Ask, Seek, Knock

May 3, 2026

In this message from the Sermon on the Mount, Dr. T teaches through Matthew 7:7-12 and unpacks what Jesus meant when He said, “Ask, seek, and knock.” This passage is not a formula for getting whatever we want from God. It is an invitation into a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father. Dr. T explains how prayer strengthens our connection with God, why asking requires humility, why seeking reveals what we truly value, and why knocking often requires courageous action. Through this message, we are reminded that God is a good Father who gives good gifts, even when His answer looks different than what we expected. As we grow in connection with Him, His goodness begins to shape how we love, respond, and treat the people around us.
