It’s weird to remember a day as being “good” when what took place was so devastating. After all, Good Friday was the day that Jesus was imprisoned, mocked, tortured, and ultimately put to death by a Roman crucifixion. But you see, what looked like a miserable end on the surface was actually the necessary step for the greatest event in all of recorded history to take place. Because without the death of Jesus on Good Friday, we wouldn’t have the Resurrection of Jesus three days later! And what that means for us is hope, life, and the joy knowing that Jesus defeated the power of sin and death. So invite a friend and join us as we gather together in anticipation of the Resurrection of Christ! Join us at Trace Church on Friday, April 15th at 6:30pm for our Good Friday service.
