This Sunday night at Trace, August 29th, from 5-6pm, we want to ask you to join us in some intentional, united prayer for the country of Afghanistan and for American soldiers and veterans. We will hear from a friend of Trace who is originally from Afghanistan and now trains and disciples leaders of the Church there. He has direct contact with Christians in the country and they desperately need our prayer and support. We will also hear from a veteran of the war in Afghanistan about how we can pray for and encourage our military members. Then we will spend time in conversation with God focused on these people and events.
“Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places…Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” – Ephesians 6:10-12,18
There will not be childcare for this event.
