In week one of C3, Dr. Trent Langhofer explores what the Bible teaches about Christian community, loneliness, friendship, and our need to be known and loved by others. Looking at the Apostle Paul near the end of his life, we see a man who experienced rejection, abandonment, and loneliness, yet continued pursuing meaningful relationships and trusting in the presence of God.
Through the examples of Luke, Paul, and Onesiphorus, we discover different ways biblical community takes shape: Luke stayed. Paul asked. Onesiphorus searched. And when everyone else was absent, the Lord stood beside Paul.
