Lost People | Holy Discontent | Aaron Pennington

What does it mean to have a holy discontent for people who don’t know Jesus? In the first week of our new sermon series, Holy Discontent, Pastor Aaron Pennington challenges us to develop a deeper burden for reaching lost people and to boldly share the hope of Jesus with those around us. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and He’s called His followers to do the same. But too often, our fear of rejection, desire for comfort, and concern for what others think keep us from sharing our faith. Through Scripture, Pastor Aaron reminds us that Jesus is the only way to the Father, and the mission of reaching lost people belongs to every follower of Christ. We also celebrate an exciting milestone for Trace Church! Through the generosity and sacrifice of our church family, the Return discipleship initiative exceeded its initial goals, bringing us one step closer to renovating our future home and reaching more people in Colorado Springs. In this message, you’ll learn:

  • What holy discontent means and why it matters.
  • Why reaching lost people should be a priority for every Christian.
  • How fear of rejection can keep us from sharing our faith.
  • Why spiritual boldness matters in today’s culture.
  • How God can use your relationships to reach people who don’t know Jesus.
